Where a specific entity has additional privacy practices unique to its services (particularly Serenity Care, which may handle health-related information), those additional practices are described in the relevant sections below.

Health and Sensitive Information (Serenity Care) 

Serenity Care may collect health-related and sensitive personal information in connection with its personal care and assisted living support services. This may include:

Collection, use, and disclosure of health-related information by Serenity Care is subject to applicable state and federal laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable. A separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices may be provided to Serenity Care clients at the time of service enrollment. 

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Pennsylvania and Other State Residents 

We comply with all applicable state privacy laws, including Pennsylvania’s data breach notification requirements. As additional state privacy laws take effect, we will update our practices and this Privacy Policy accordingly. 

Children's Privacy

Our websites are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

Certain services offered through Serenity Care may involve the care of minors. In those cases, personal information related to minors is collected only with the documented consent of a parent or legal guardian, and is handled with heightened care and confidentiality in accordance with applicable law. 

Third Party Websites and Services

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or other online services that are not operated by The Basalyga Group. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit. 

 

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security measures of any third-party websites. Including a link on our website does not imply our endorsement or sponsorship of the linked site. 

 

Our websites may also use social media features such as "Like" buttons or sharing widgets. These features may collect your IP address, the pages you visit on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. 

Interstate Data Transfers

The Basalyga Group is headquartered in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and our primary operations and data storage are based in the United States. If you access our websites from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
